GovRooms.com provides a free basic listing for any hotel that will agree to offer a Per Diem Rate to government travelers and has the required FEMA number. Some properties are exempt from needing a FEMA number. You can lookup your FEMA number or register to obtain one on FEMA’s website: http://www.usfa.dhs.gov/applications/hotel/

GovRooms.com is funded by advertising, hotels that pay for upgraded listings are the ones who make this site possible. Rate information is available in the Advertise section.

The Government Services Administration (GSA) updates hotel per diem rates for federal travel annually in September. The 2011 per diem rates for hotels will be psoted September 1, 2010. However the GSA can make changes to a hotel's per diem rates (actually, the per diem rate for the corresponding city, zip code, or region) throughout the year, so government travelers should be aware that our per diem rates are updated annually, or when we receive notification of a per diem rate change.
